Volunteering

Regardless of the role, your time is precious and you want it to make a difference. That’s why hope trust volunteering opportunities are tailored to you. Just thirty minutes a week, and a love of writing letters will allow you to be paired up with an older person who enjoys receiving chatty, bright letters - some times the simplest ideas work the best!

If you have an hour spare per week, then you could become a volunteer befriender, visiting someone in their home helping that lonely, older person enjoy some truly welcome company. We also have volunteer visitors who visit people in residential homes, bringing companionship and conversation to anyone who needs it.

More time availability will allow you to serve in other, different ways. Your time, generously given, will make a difference in the lives of older people. To find out more, simply contact us, or complete the volunteer application form and return it to the office.
