With measuring tape in hand and a metre, and 2 metre, rule as our guides the community room at Maidstone Hall has been measured.  The one way in, one way out has been established (easily done as there are only 2 doors!) hand sanitiser is at the ready and the welcoming news that all shielding rules are being relaxed from 1st August means the building will serve as our office once again from August 3rd, with events following on as soon as they can be arranged.  Things will look different, but just the hope of this 'new normal' is giving us a distinct boost.  August is still quite a few weeks away, but as we've said all through this pandemic, we can still stay in touch.  There is still time to be a part of a Zoom get together, a friendly chat on the phone, or receive a cheery card in the post, please give us a call on 01394 272592, should we not be available to take your call, leave a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.  The work of the charity continues, so please do get in touch.

If anyone needs help in a more practical way, let us know and we can share with you details of recently established, trustworthy, local volunteer groups that have been set up specifically to help.
