Local lunch at the Spa Pavilion

Tuesday 19th August – We were out for lunch at the Spa Pavilion, lovely view of the sea, good food, service and great company.

Speaker event

Friday 8th August – Helen Kirkman from Suffolk Police gave a talk about fraud and scams. This topic is often spoken about in our sessions so we are thankful for the expert and informative information.

Broadway House

Thursday 7th August – It was our first week at Broadway House, we would like to thank them for the warm welcome. It was a lovely afternoon, was wonderful to see some new faces and of course the regulars.

Tuesday 5th August – Thank you to Mark Chapman who gave a very informative and interesting talk on the Russia & the Russians.

Location update

From Thursday 7^th August pm – We are moving our afternoon session of tea, chat & boardgames (1pm – 3pm) from the Wellbeing Hub at Great Eastern Square to Broadway House, Orwell House.

We would like to thank Laura and everyone at the Wellbeing Hub for all the help and support since October last year and wish them every success for the future.

For all of our regular attendees, we look forward to seeing you at the new venue (Broadway House) and also hoping to meet some new faces. You will be sure of a warm welcome.

Afternoon Tea @ Sea You

Tuesday 29th July – Afternoon tea by the sea. Thank you to everyone at the Sea You Cafe for the lovely afternoon tea.

River cruise

Friday 11th July – We had the perfect weather for a river cruise. A big thank you to Mind, Body and Sea, who made this possible and looked after us so well on board the Neverland. A wonderful memory and we can’t wait to do it again.

Woodbridge

Friday 13th June – Visit to the Long Shed in Woodbridge to see the reconstruction of an Anglo-Saxon boat. Wonderful to see the skilled work that is being carried out and hoping we will return to see it on the water.

The Hut

Friday 23rd May – We had a lovely day by the sea at the Hut, enjoyed fish and chips from Hamilton’s, tested our brains with the quizzes and enjoyed some games of bingo.

Garden visit

Friday 9th May – A lovely afternoon wandering around this beautiful garden. Thank you to Tizy and James for letting us visit their garden. Everyone enjoyed the talk about the garden & the delicious lemon drizzle cake.
