Friday 1st May – Outing to Jimmy’s farm and wildlife park. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jimmy’s farm, it was a glorious day for wandering around seeing all the amazing animals and also had time to have some delicious food from the restaurant.
Friday 10th April – Outing to meet Felix the elephant and have lunch at the Elephant & Barrel in the Orwell Hotel. Wonderful to see so many faces from the Hope Trust, 21 in total. We all had a very enjoyable lunch with good food, service & of excellent company. Thank you to everyone from the Orwell Hotel for looking after us.
Tuesday 17th March – We had 10 people from the Hope Trust go to our local lunch event at the Angel Inn Coffee House in Walton. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed lunch and the service was excellent. We were so busy eating & chatting, we didn’t take a picture of us all!
Friday 13th March – Thoroughly enjoyable morning of music from the Ukulele Band of Felixstowe. We provide some backing vocals and some of us even did the hand jive! Thanks to everyone in the band.
Friday 6th March – Outing to the new Perrywood Garden Centre in Sudbury. Everyone enjoyed wandering around the plants, home & garden ware. Lovely designed cafe serving delicious food and excellent service.
Friday 13th February – This months, local lunch was at Loca restaurant, Sea Road. Despite the weather we had a great turn out and lovely to see lots of smiling faces. Thank you to everyone at Loca restaurant.
Tuesday 27th January – Local lunch at Orwell Fisheries restaurant. Dispute the weather, we had a delicious fish lunch, staff were very friendly, food & service was excellent. We look forward to returning again.
Tuesday 18th November – All of our brains have been tested this morning with the Hope Trust quiz. Thank you to Angela for one round of questions, definitely got us thinking!
Friday 14th November – Local lunch at the Conservative Club, enjoying lunch together. Thank you to everyone at the Con Club for looking after us so well.
